Please be patient while the site is updated and added to, the site is new and unfamiliar for me to navigate. In the meantime, a brief history of the idea….

The idea to be able to actually make a difference was born, whilst sitting on a wall outside Bob’s home. Looking at a Jeep Cherokee which had seen better days, the seeds to RuffWayOver were sown as a thought on how to aid those with no voice of their own came to mind.

Listening to a track from The Eagles, entitled “Do Something”, the lyrics encouraged thought on how a contribution to the world might be made. Anyone listening to this song might also be similarily spurred to take some form of action in whatever they may hold dear.

The basic plan being, to take dog food to a rescue charity, highlighting the ability in all of us to do the same. (Anyone could simply take a bag of dog food to a nearby rescue centre on our way to a holiday destination for example). The difference in this venture, would be that a minimal amount of tarred roads would be used. Dirt tracks and the equivalent of our “B” roads, would be the path taken.

And so, the project begins…..
