Taking a simple bag of dried dog food to a rescue centre.

What effect would that have on the burden all rescue centres carry? If everyone, perhaps on the way to their holiday destination, were to carry out this simple act, then I am sure the financial burden these centres bear, could be alleviated to a greater degree. Don’t you think?

RuffWayOver, came to be, because rescue centres everywhere, be they for dogs, cats, even donkeys, all need the help and support of the public in some shape or form. The fact that you are reading this now, means you have at least some interest in the welfare of the animal kingdom, regardless of what type of animal or bird it be.

This whole project is aimed to help one particular rescue charity at the moment. ACE.
Ace is a dog rescue charity, founded by Fabienne Paques, which deals with the rescue, rehoming and welfare of abandoned and mistreated dogs in Southern Spain. (A link to their site is included in the “links” page for your convenience, should you wish to visit. Please click the Union Jack at the top of the page to read in English).
A great many dogs have been rehomed throughout Europe, thanks to the ceaseless efforts of all involved with ACE. Much work is needed to educate, not only the people of Spain, but indeed the world, on what constitutes fair treatment of any animal.

If you are indeed in a position to be able to help them, by all means, please bypass me, and give any assistance you can. This RuffWayOver site exists to help in any way possible. To raise their profile would make this site worthwhile, the expedition to “El Refugio” is how I hope to achieve this.

“The Jeep” tells of what has been done and sacrificed to facilitate the project’s success.
